March is one of my favorite months!
Maybe because spring comes.
Maybe because lots of shenanigans happen, from those mysterious little leprechauns!
My new unit, more than a day's worth of work, has arrived!!
In 2nd grade, we begin division about this time of year, which is why St. Patrick's Day Lucky Charms come in so handy!
In this unit, I have beginning division & multiplication sorts
(you provide the Lucky Charms),
Grandma sneaking into plural
St. Patrick's Day cookies,
a social studies map as to where to find the leprechaun hiding,
synonyms & antonyms,
a Daily Smart Cookie for morning work to start the BIG day,
bookmarks the leprechauns left for the kids,
a poster about, Meet The Leprechaun I Caught,
a writing about, "If I Had A Pot Of Gold", and a reading comprehension story and questions about Saint Patrick himself!
Tons of work, all for the BIG day of nothing but excitement & fun!
Laminate & add a little ribbon (or not) to the bookmarks, and SURPRISE!
Look what the leprechauns left for the kids!
The writing puts a spin on the kids, if they were the ones with a pot of gold, not the leprechauns, what would they do with it?

Looks great Amy! The giveaway is up on my blog. ( Let me know if you think I need to add or change anything.) Thanks SO much again for helping!
