Put the wheels on & let's motor!
No, I don't shout this at the t.v. when the game's on, but Mr. Packrat (hubby) does!
Oh yea, and the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree, cause the boys say it now, too.

Weeks Worth Of Work For: The Super Bowl!
Here's A Peek At Your Week In The Packet:
Kickin' off each day with one scrambled up, completely incorrect sentence the kiddos fix, correct & rewrite ever so beautifully...all football filled, of course!
Monday is, "Turn & Burn, Baby" with sorting & breaking football vocab words into 1-2- or 3 syllable sorts.
Tuesday is, "Get Your Popcorn" with sorting football vocab into team names, states, fields, parks, & Superdomes into correct columns, then changing the common nouns into proper nouns as they sort & write.
Wednesday is, "Get Some Wheels & Let's Motor" with a synonym pair writing page...finding what is the same!
Thursday is, "We Play To Win", 'cause that's what you do in the Super Bowl! This page is dedicated to teaching students how to write STRONG sentences, using parts of speech, including adverbs, until we make our sentences WINNING sentences!
Friday is, "Put A Hit On Your Nouns", where we are building strong sentences using 2 adjectives to support the noun.
We are putting a hit on the nouns, or making them so super strong!
A writing plan is also included, on three reasons about how to be a team player.
