Super Sized Winter Storms

Brrr...
We wrapped up our unit on,
Super Sized Winter Storms!

We learned about different types of storms, what makes each storm different, where they happen, and the damage they can do.
 Then, we graphed!

We graphed our favorite storms, completed the graphing papers, then drew a pic of our favorite storm!

I love how one kiddo drew a hurricane, and included the eye of the storm...

Then another sweeties's favorite was just a "peaceful" snowstorm...

We stepped the graphing up a bit, counting by 2's, and then graphing odd numbers in only even bars.
Teaching the kids to cut the bar in half, and graph only 1 of the 2 count, was difficult at first.
We will definitely be doing more of this!

Brrr...stay warm, it's cooold out there!
