Currently...January!

LOVE the Currently moments hosted by, Farley!

Currently posts are peaceful in the sense that we can be real with what's going on right now.

On that note, here's mine:
Listening
It's such a blessing when you listen to the laughter of your children playing together!
It will be but for a short time, while they are still little...

Loving
My family is my greatest gift, and I am beyond thankful for every part we can play in.
We are together in it all, for the long run, the good & not so good, and God has blessed us beyond with what we have.
I am thankful to have my family to share this life with, for God put us together!

Thinking
I am thankful for all I have.  In the BIG picture of things, where it really counts, I am able to sit back and smile that truly, God has blessed my world.
We mustn't forget the BIGGER picture.

Wanting
I am able to spend more quality time with my family, cook homemade meals, go anywhere on a whim 'cause I feel like it, go visit the grandmas when they need someone, etc.
Breaks are nice, because it allows freedoms that are not bound by every minute.
This includes the fact that I can drink extra coffee or tea in the am, and not wait until recess to run to the restroom!

Needing
More days in this wonderful break!
Break, and homemade cooking also includes tons of baking & sweets in the house, all of which are not good for someone who has a GIANT sweet tooth as myself.
If I could only eat sweets for the rest of my life, and it would be ok, well...
 MY LIFE WOULD BE PERFECT!!

OLW (One Little Word)
One little word to give me guidance, would be time.
If I made the time, or had the time, or had more of time, I could:
serve others better

That's what I would want, to give more of myself to others.

So, like Farley said, go spread the love and joy!
Happy New Years, my friends!

  3. Hello!

Family is certainly God's greatest treasure. I know exactly what you mean about the struggle to fit it all in.
I absolutely love teaching, but also do enjoy the time off to spend with family, read, cook, shop, etc.

    Happy New Year!

  15. I could have sworn I followed you before but apparently I didn't!! I am now though :) I actually have all my subjects in binders... just not all the skills. It is a long process for me. I am terrified to dump anything because then I know the next year I will be saying I want such and such page and it will be gone.
